On the other months, there is a stand up comedy showcase show that I attended last night as an audience member and I have to say that place is amazing. It’s everything I could have dreamed as a sixteen-year-old kid whose entire adolescence was shaped by my decision to choose John Cusack as my romantic comedy avatar. I bought a trench coat, learned to ski and dreamed of talking about music with like-minded individuals while lamenting my past relationship woes and making very specific lists.
Instead I ended up working at blockbuster trying not to bite off my own tongue after hearing four people a day talk about how larry the cable guy is the voice of our generation. But if you are like me and you’re always carrying a satchel full of nerd obsessions in your pocket, Strange Loop Records is a great place to spend your time and money.
I sat down with a couple of employees of the shop for the next episode of the SqueezeCast. Which will go up at the end of this month.
In otter news…
The website is getting bigger. More people are contributing and we have a handful of big projects coming up.

All new SqueezeCast, SqueezeBlogs, Poor & 24, and Alphamom to come.
